The Sorcerer's Apprentice takes place in contemporary New York, where a wizard (Nicolas Cage) searches for an apprentice (Jay Baruchel). Jerry Bruckheimer is producing.

The Sorcerer's Apprentice was released July 14th, 2010 and stars Jay Baruchel, Nicolas Cage, Monica Bellucci, Alfred Molina, Toby Kebbell, Ethan Peck, Teresa Palmer, Peyton List. The film is directed by Jon Turteltaub.

    WOW. this was nicolas cage. I can't f*ckin believe it. I was trying to see who was that and then I saw it down there. I really don't think cage would work out as a wizard. i mean he's never that kind of people to do this kind of movies. again, it is just another challenge for nic. if he's a good actor then he'll appeal to us as a good wizard. but still, I think this is a very very hard challenge for nic cage. because he's trying to be the antonym of what we know him like.
