New The Punisher: War Zone Poster Images
Producer Gale Anne Hurd recently threw a party in Pasadena for Ray Stevenson, star of her forthcoming film Punisher: War Zone. Getty Images was there and they snapped some shots of the new one-sheet posters for the film. Click below to enlarge these new images and

Punisher: War Zone is slated for release on December 5.
Punisher: War Zone was released December 5th, 2008 and stars Ray Stevenson, Dominic West, Doug Hutchison, Colin Salmon, Wayne Knight, Dash Mihok, Julie Benz, Stephanie Janusauskas. The film is directed by Lexi Alexander.

I also hate how they are using the old Punisher insignia. They should really use the one from the previous film, it just so much darker.

I'm still gonna see this, but I just know it won't be as good as the first. I mean there is a new director, a new actor, ( I don't beleive that any play a better "Punisher" than "Thomas Jane"), and then from looking at the new trailer, it looks like 'Lexi Alexander" is focusing too much on action, and not on the story or any thing else. I mean it seems ridiculous too see the Punisher swinging a chandlier in circles while hanging upside down on it, and kill every one in sight. Thats too much of just trying to be cool, and not enough realistic military tatics, which is what the Punisher was trained in.

The trailer for this movie told me instantly that this should be a straight to dvd title. They still haven't found a way to do The Punisher justice and it is one of the most simple themes of the comic book genre. The one with Thomas Jane came close, but that's only because it was better than the one with Dolph.

I'll give it a chance, Ray Stevenson kicked major ass in ROME. It could be good, could suck, but then a lot of films Ive seen lately have sucked so yeah. I will wait and see.

I have to admit that I am all about the Tom Jane character....Stevenson's acting just doesn't gel with me for some reason. I'll wait to pass full judgment...but it isn't looking good yet.

Let me say smoething,to be honest this new guy, if he had been in the first one and had been darker,this would had made sense,but now we got a new actor and looks like its more extreme,its going to take me some time to adapt to this....but lets see.(I still wish Thomas Jane was around).
