New The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey TV Spot Highlights Sting's Power
Middle Earth fans and J.R.R. Tolkien devotees have just nine days and counting before The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey arrives in 2D and 3D theaters nationwide next weekend. To help get you properly psyched for this cinematic journey, Entertainment Weekly is debuting four special magazine covers for this week's print issue, featuring Martin Freeman as Bilbo Baggins, Ian McKellen as Gandalf, Richard Armitage as Thorin Oakenshield, and Andy Serkis' Gollum. Warner Bros. has also released a new TV spot featuring all of these characters in action, along with Cate Blanchett as Galadriel. This latest look at the film also hints at Sting's powers (Sting is Bilbo's sword).




The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey was released December 14th, 2012 and stars Ian McKellen, Martin Freeman, Richard Armitage, Ken Stott, Graham McTavish, William Kircher, James Nesbitt, Stephen Hunter. The film is directed by Peter Jackson.
