Sylvester Stallone is set to star in and direct "The Expendables." Stallone, who also wrote the script, will be joined onscreen by Jason Statham, while Jet Li is in final negotiations to join the action film.
The movie follows a team of mercenaries on a mission to overthrow a South American dictator.
The Expendables, which stars Jason Statham, Sylvester Stallone, Jet Li, Randy Couture, Dolph Lundgren, Eric Roberts, Mickey Rourke, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Danny Trejo, Charisma Carpenter, Steve Austin and Curtis Jackson, will be released on April 23, 2010.
The Expendables was released August 13th, 2010 and stars Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Eric Roberts, Randy Couture, Steve Austin, David Zayas. The film is directed by Sylvester Stallone.

It seems a bit odd that prior to "Rocky Balboa" in 2006 was it?, that Sylvester hadn't really done much in the field of these types of movies, then he did "Rambo" and now this?
Well Danny Trejo is badass, but he'll probably only get a supporting role, as usual.
And Schwarzenegger is still the Governator, so he probably has a minimal role too.
