The way I see it is it's a throw back to old action movies that were by modern standards really bad. Like Commando where he practically had weapons on every part of his body, short from a grenade in his sock.
If you go in thinking it is going to be ground breaking then yeah you are going to be dissapointed.

looks awful! dialogue is appalling. action looks overly staged (similar to the obviously staged 80's action movies). cast is interesting, but it doesn't seem as though they actually pull it together. i like the idea of a good 'ol action flick like they used to make, but this one looks like it is gonna fall short of expectations.
