Anyway... still think the movie might deserve a looksee.

NYC is the only city that's interesting enough to get destroyed. It's got the statue of liberty, times square, central park, and the empire state building. The only other place is washington with the white house, capital building, and...is the pentagon in washington? I'm gonna say it is, correct me if i'm wrong. What other places are there? F*ckin L.A?

    And cell...just shut up

If you read anything on this film 'moviefreakydeaky' the director has updated the original movie's Cold War message-- stop killing each other through nuclear arms races!-- to reflect a more modern fear-- stop killing each other through global warming!

Basically this will be like "An Inconvenient Truth" but only W./Aliens! LOL!

I just hope this doesn't turn out to be another laughable mess like "The Happening"!

Good point freakydeaky... for the exception of Independence Day, all aliens want to do is destroy NYC. Why don't they go after the snake's head? Destroy Washington and we'd be in an interesting pickle. haha

Keanu Reeves is NOT a great actor... agreed. BUT he has starred in many movies I HAVE enjoyed on a personal level. Like Point Break, Speed, the Replacements, and the Matrix trilogy (part 3 not so much). So I'm giving this baby a chance.

Yay, just what we need. A lazy remake of a classic that looks like a mish-mash of CGI disaster movies from the director of Hellraiser: Inferno and The Exorcism of Emily Rose that stars Keanu Reeves. Yep....really excited.

Looks like crap? R u PMSing?! We believed Keanu to be the "the one" in the matrix, what makes this any different? Ur just pissy cuz on top of ur period, u have to deal w/ the fact that this is a remake that'll actually be good. Admit it: it looks really good

Do they honestly expect us to believe Keanu Reeves as the savior of our planet? God help us all.

That just goes to show that they need to be in the right hands to work, such as Spielberg(WotW) and Jackson(Kong). From the looks of this trailer, derrickson has got the right idea. It'll be great
