New The Dark Knight Trailer to Air with 10,000 B.C.

Fans have been waiting for the next trailer for The Dark Knight almost since the moment the first one was released. Then, with Heath Ledger's unexpected death, everyone began to wonder whether or not the next trailer would feature the Australian star. Now, IGN.com reports that the next trailer will air with Warner Bros' prehistoric epic 10,000 B.C..

According to the report, this trailer will feature less of the Joker, and pay more attention to Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale) and Harvey Dent (Aaron Eckhart).

Christopher Nolan, who directed The Dark Knight, has said before that while the Joker is important to the film, the main story arc really focuses on District Attorney Harvey Dent, who will eventually become the villainous Two-Face.

The Dark Knight opens on July 18, 2008, and stars Christian Bale, Heath Ledger, Morgan Freeman, Gary Oldman, Aaron Eckhart and Maggie Gylenhall.

    Hey guys! this evening I've seen 10,000BC. And I've got bad and good news! The bad new is that the trailer it's exactly the same one we've seen before. And the good new is that tomorrow, on Sunday, we'll be able to see the new trailer in www.atasteforthetheatrical.com! Amazing, it was AMAZING! Today, a group of guys were waiting for people at the cinema. They chose 5 of them and I asked my self: ''what's happening here?'' And then, they chose me too. We were 6 persons and they took us to a cinema room. We all were waiting impacient to see what they wanted to show us, until I saw that one of those guys was wearing a T-shirt with the Dark Knight symbol! I realised that I was going to watch the new Dark Knight trailer and, there it was. The best 2 minutes of my life! 2 minutes and 16 seconds! It appeared all. ''All'' refers to the description of the trailer that I read in the internet, but there's something they didn't mentioned in the description. Two-face appeared too at the end of the trailer! IT WAS AMAZING! And when the trailer ended, those guys (the ones who chose me) told us that the same trailer we saw, will be available tomorrow (Sunday) in www.atasteforthetheatrical.com.     I just spent ten bucks to go see "10,000 BC" JUST so i could see the new "Dark Knight" Trailer and yes, it was the same f**king one! And since "10,000 BC" kinda sucked, it was pretty much a total waste of money. What a rip off.

    My guess is then the trailer will, and must, be released with the remake of Funny Games, I mean they did the same thing with Spiderman 3, they said a new trailer for it was going to premiere before Ghost Rider but it didn't

    Hmmm. To downplay Heath's role at this particular time seems pointless and all too obvious. They could still do a trailer that had both characters featured in it. To purposefully dumb -down the Joker's role due to, well, whatever the reasoning is, would upset quite a few fans out there. Take it from a guy that looks like me..... people love the Joker, sometimes as much as they love Batman. Sometimes, to us, they can be one in the same while at the same time remain perfect compliments to one another. While Two-Face is a fantastic Batman villain it's just not the same as the intensity that derives from the freakishly bizarre hero/villain bond that Batman and the Joker have.
