New The Dark Knight Rises Footage from MTV Awards!

Warner Bros. debuted a montage of all-new never-before-seen clips from The Dark Knight Rises during the 2012 MTV Movie Awards earlier tonight. We also got our hands on the fifth TV spot that started airing this weekend. Take a look at both videos from Christopher Nolan's Batman finale below.

By request of the studio, the footage from the MTV Movie Awards has been removed.

The Dark Knight Rises was released July 20th, 2012 and stars Tom Hardy, Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway, Liam Neeson, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Gary Oldman, Marion Cotillard, Morgan Freeman. The film is directed by Christopher Nolan.

    This month marks a year from the premiere of the Zack Snyder-directed Superman movie with a promotional campaign already underway at the 2012 Licensing Expo being held in Las Vegas. Warner Bros. brought with them the costumes from the movie featuring Jor-El, Faora and Henry Cavill's Superman costume.

    Regarding the highly anticipated first Man of Steel trailer, an insider has told us that it will be attached to Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises.

    So we may see a taste of footage at the Comic Con, July 12-15th, followed by the first Man of Steel trailer on July 20th.

    So any ideas on who will play "wayne/batman" next? I havnt got the slightest clue on who would fit that role. But it would have to be an unknown actor. Somebody new, not an A-lister, And surefly nobody from a twilight film.
    I would jizz my pants if they got keaton back on board to play an older batman, or like they say "15yrs later" That would be the biggest film ever. in my book.

    A few years back there were rumors swirling around that the Penguin wasa going to be the main villain and that he would be played by Philip Seymour Hoffman and The Riddler was also considered for the role, but before we all just heard that WB wanted Leonardo Dicaprio to play the role, Johnny Depp was rumored to be the first frontrunner for it. I agree with y'all @XxNickTheFilmCriticXx and @bawnian-dexeus. I would love to see a future sequel beginning a new trilogy,and should be titled just like the Frank Miller comic The Dark Knight Returns.

    @bawnian-dexeus -- Agreed! Imagine how dark and compelling it would be if both directors got a chance to direct a trilogy together(like Peter Jackson and Steven Spielberg with Tintin). That might make my list of "great/outstanding movies that will never be made".

    @XxNickTheFilmCriticXx Fincher or Aronofsky would be great choices. But if it's part of the dark knight series, they can take however long they want. But like I said before in another article on MW, WB doesn't have to limit themselves if they chose to only focus on Batman. Like comic books, they can make a new story line separate from what they already have. Have a new movie franchise focused on Batman and Robin with new actors, another series with a different cast focusing on another storyline, etc.. Wouldn't work because a large number of people are idiots and easily confused, but I'd do it like that as a WB executive

    @XxNickTheFilmCriticXx Also, and this probably ins't too surprising, but I just read on yahoo that DiCaprio was considered to play Riddler in Rises as the original villain choice and Bane & Catwoman came as a secondary choice. Like migrating one cast from a film to another. Anyways, WB still wants him to play the brain teaser villain in future Batman movies after Rises
