Just watched the trailer again. I think fanboy is right, about the nuking.

This looks very creepy. Kind of evokes the feelings I had when I saw the trailer for 28 Days Later. Hope this one ends well.
Nuking the town would be too predictable. But, you never know, they just might do that.
Looks like they get carted off separately.

".....your point is kind of -mute-". Look Comrade, Chad did it too. Are you going to correct him as well?

I only heard of his name cause I site that I get music from had it on there and I was like 'oh who is this' and listened to it since I really like that song anyway. It's not bad. I'm assuming Adam Lambert is famous because of American Idol. Did he do that song on the show or was it just released after? Cause the version I have is like a studio recording version that sounds good.

I don't care. I can still think it's marketing. Sure the song fits with the theme, but when you think of this season of American Idol you think of Adam Lambert. And when you think of him, he is mostly associated with Mad World since his rendition was like acclaimed. And it has been heavily used since then, hence, here it is again.

Comrade's right... Gary Jules for this one. Same version from Donnie Darko and Gears of War 2 commercial.

Tears for Fears did the original. Gary Jules did this version. Run a wiki search, it takes two f*cking seconds and you don't have to clog the thread with bullsh*t questions.

The Narrator: The Better Man
The fact he watches one of the crappiest shows on tv (American Idol)... I won't go there. And I like the song, and don't even know who f*cking sings it, so I am pretty sure its not because of Adam whatever his name is, man. And this looks pretty awesome, you have to admit. "Meh"? Come on.

Moviemaniac is talking out of his ass, this song has been around for a long time (In Donnie Darko) and Gears of War trailer. It's been used before. Even though that Adam Lambert cover is alright, it's not as nearly as good as the Gary Jules version. Most people liked that song way before their was a cover of it on American Idol. Now if they would have put the Adam Lambert version on this trailer, I would agree with you, but since it's not, your point is kind of mute.

Everytime I hear Mad World it reminds me of the first Gears of War trailer (which was awesome). It has that tone to it that makes you feel more for some reason, it's weird lol. It was a nice touch at the end of the trailer for sure. Timothy is awesome as always.

Clearly the only reason Mad World is featured in the trailer is because of the enormous success Adam Lambert from American Idol had with it. They even used HIS version to promote the TV show Trauma and Flash Forward. Guess they are trying to reach an audience outside the targeted one. Looks meh.

Basically it follows the story of Nick Aten, and one day he wakes up and all the parents, well anyone over the age of 18, have gone crazy and parents are killing their young. And it shows his fight for survival as the whole world goes in ballistic violence as the young face off against the adults, and an eventual confrontation with his relentless bloodthiristy pursuing parents, that murder his brother and their son.
Its amazing you should definately give it a read, if you love horror novels, Simon Clark doesn't disapoint. His up top with Stephen King & Clive Barker.
He was also the author to 'Day Of The Trifids'
