Terminator Salvation Sneak Peek



In the highly anticipated new installment of "The Terminator" film franchise, set in post-apocalyptic 2018, Christian Bale stars as John Connor, the man fated to lead the human resistance against Skynet and its army of Terminators. But the future Connor was raised to believe in is altered in part by the appearance of Marcus Wright (Sam Worthington), a stranger whose last memory is of being on death row. Connor must decide whether Marcus has been sent from the future, or rescued from the past. As Skynet prepares its final onslaught, Connor and Marcus both embark on an odyssey that takes them into the heart of Skynet's operations, where they uncover the terrible secret behind the possible annihilation of mankind.

Terminator Salvation was released May 21st, 2009 and stars Christian Bale, Sam Worthington, Moon Bloodgood, Helena Bonham Carter, Anton Yelchin, Jadagrace, Bryce Dallas Howard, Common. The film is directed by McG.

    I think this film has great potental. The action is obvious the only thing we fans have to worry about is the story line. I personally love the main point of this movie. No matter what happens to this world we human beings are not gonna go with out a fight.

    VIS: Not everyone is going to be impressed by the same things that you are. I'm not impressed with this clip, I don't know what's so hard to figure out about that. I did admit that the robots looked kickass... or I guess "Sick" was the word that I used... But the overall clip wasn't that amazing. I'm going to give this movie a fair chance when I go and see it. Despite the fact that I feel it should've at least waited until Arnold's term was done, if it's done right, it might not need him. I've seen movies with actors I hate, such as "Step Brothers," which I loved, so maybe I'll like it. I don't know. Just right now, I don't think this film is going to be as spectacular as everyone says. I'll see it, and give it a fair chance, but I'm not expecting much... Everyone needs to just get over it.

    But his script which was originally intended for the first film, was rejected and then later on it was according to Miller "Drastically and awfully rewritten" and was reworked to become that awful sequel they call Robocop 2

    Yeah he wrote the original script to it, i think he then later turned it into a comic adaptation.

    You can probably find the script on the net on a script site, he also wrote a film script to Batman: Yr 1, which later on became the concept for Batman Begins

    Lol, I wouldn't even watch that Jedi vs. Enterprise, because Jedi's would win hands down. Put jedi's up against Star Trek than we probably got something going.
    Yeah i hope it is better than three. whoever thought that a woman would make a good terminator must be retarded or on drugs. Summer Glau on the tv show does fine, but no, no, no, no women should be terminators. I think that's the biggest problem i had with the third one and that they tried to poke fun at the whole terminator origin, with those not funny antics done by Arnold, is just one example. I hope Salvation will bring this franchise back to good ground.

    Well the link to Freddy Vs Jason started with "Jason Goes To Hell" that was only because Paramount decided to sell the movie rights off to New Line Cinema, so this gave New Line Cinema the oppourtunity and opening to merge the 2 franchises together. That is if anyone remembers in the end of Jason Goes To Hell, Freddy's hand comes out and grabs Jason's mask to hell and it ends with Kruger laughing.

    I reckon both could work if they were merged together just a reasonable storyline that links into both franchises, just needs to be made. I mean they been merged them together through games and the comic, so why couldn't it work as a movie.
    They revived Jason & Freddy to a new generation of an auidence by having both of them kick each other's asses in Crystal lake and Elm St.
    So why can't they do the same to Robocop.

    I also agree with you August, Robocop was awesome but the sequels sucked hard. I wonder what it would have been like if they went along with Frank Miller's Script?

    I can see how they can do a Freddy vs. Jason, cause I could care less, but a Terminator vs. Robocop??? That's just plain heresy! Completely different universes. Next thing you know, there will be Jedi on the Enterprise. No thanks.

    Still, I can't wait for this movie. I don't care who makes it, just as long as it's better than three. The whole thing looks gritty like the prologues of both 1 and 2, so I'm all for it. I'll decide if I like it or not AFTER I see it.

    Good sounding story line, but i hope Robocop dies at the end. I just hate that guy. I loved the first movie, but after that i was just hoping someone would kill that guys circuits. And they did on the second one, but some f*cking crazy way they glued his dumbass back together. Don't let me get started on that Robocop Nintendo game.

    You see that is what everyone says...A terminator would wipe the floor with Robocop. But it doesn't really have to be fully on about them battling each other, ok maybe a few scenes where they kick each other around.
    I thought of a story line in that 2 terminators one good and the other bad go back into time to protect / defeat Robocop, because Robocop somewhat plays a crucial part in the existence of mankind's future.

    I didn't know about Kyle, Marcus and Carnahan. I hate spoilers. Thanks about the avatar. But, lol, i've never read the comic, just thought it was a cool pic. I guess i've never wanted to see Robocop vs. Terminator because i know Terminator would wipe the floor with this guy. Robocop is to robotic. terminators are fast and human like and i just can't see Robocop beating this guy.

    Erm i might be off with the old ones probably because i haven't seen then since part 3 came out.
    I have other things to do rather than find every valuable source on a film franchise.
    The most reasonable comment that has come out of your 2 conversations, is this
    "Can't we just say that we're both big terminator fans?"

    Which was said by August.

    Alos it's slated that the "Terminator Salvation Saga" will be a trilogy, so erm jeez i don't know how that fact is off, considering they are already working on the next installment as well, and in trilogies the 3rd usually tends to be the weakest.

    But any way, spoilers have already been released from this henceforth, why it looks good but the excitement has been taken away from it.
    How can you let the auidence know that Kyle, Marcus or Carnahan is going to betray John Conoor before the release of the film?

    Me personally i reckon it Kyle that betrays John as for a writer for T5 stated that there is this major confliction between John and Kyle from the first movie in the trilogy.

    And yeah i was serious about the Robocop vs Terminator...i don't know about other but i've always wanted to see it. And erm no i'm 19 for you informtion.

    Why don't you all just shut the f*ck up wait for the movie...then wait for the sequel and then wait for the last part of the trilogy which will be where the film f*cks up as do all majority of trilogies.

    EXACTLY!!!!! AGENT...thankyou. This movie was bound to happen from the beginning. In fact, I don't think part 3 should have happened. The terminator shouldn't have came back to kill John the second time, because two time already is cool, the third time, its played out. It worked in the first one, because it was the first time you seen a story like that. The second time was genius because now the person who you thought was the enemy is how the protector, GENIUS! Can you guys remember in Judgement day in beginning where arnie first found john and so did the t1000, and for like 2 minutes you didn't know who he was there for. Now like i said, we get to see John fulfill his destiny in this movie. We've been hearing how he's gonna be this and that...now we get to finally see it. We get to see how they came up with inventing the time machine. The time machine in itself is such a big deal. How did machines figure that out?? man i cannot wait for this. If you guys watch a piece of the sneak peak, you'll see a crippled t800 crawling trying to get john and John shoots it. This is the opening scene, where MCG purposely pays homage to the end of the first movie where Sarah kills a crippled terminator trying to kill her. Thats who much MCG is into this!!

    To answer your question Vamp, people try to change people's minds because they don't know why in the hell you wouldn't be excited for this...but I know why you're not excited. It's because you don't like Christian Bale, you don't like future movies, and you don't like the fact Arny isn't in it. That's a lot of reasons for not wanting to see it, but the fact is, those are stupid reasons lol Terminator was always about robots and people from the future coming to our time...a movie like this was bound to happen. I GET that you aren't anticipating this because of the reasons I mentioned, but you just don't think it looks impressive because you've had a negative view of it since it was announced. I mean, how can you NOT think that looks impressive? Look at truvision's comments for further confirmation on why this movie IS a big deal.

    Not to mention your history with being bias, and that just adds to us being frustrated with you not liking this. This is a movie that actually makes sense and SHOULD happen, and you're not liking it. Besides, you'll probably end up liking this...you do most movies, so just wait and see lol I wouldn't have said all that, but you did ask
