Those pictures look awesome. Heath Ledger's Joker looks better than Jack Nicholson's Joker.

i agree with everyone. lol. i don't know how i do i jus do it. i have to say if anyone were to replace heath why not michael rosenbaum. did i mis-spell. anyways he is crazy as lex but even then i still can't imagine anyone else. but do me a favor guys. go and rent or buy the movie 12 monkeys. with brad Pitt and Bruce Willis. brad Pitt is so freakin crazy there. reminds me of Marlon Brando meets jack Nicholson. we need someone new like that. not someone famous.

Ah but then whomever it is would be impersonating Heath and would be compared to him and not rated as the Joker. Nobody can replace Heath granted but thats not to say there cant be another interpretation. Heath is not Jack Nicholson and vice versa even though both are effective Jokers. I mention Crispin Glover not as a replacement for Heath but a new interpretation. He remains the most physically acurate to the original classic Joker look. Whatever though man I respect your view and have total faith in Nolan. Cant wait for Dark Knight!

  8. THE JOKER

No Crispin Glover would be awful. they have to be simular in build and look and be able to act as well as HEath. otherwise it will really be stupid

Christopher Nolan is the only essential element of the new Batman direction. Heath will be sorely missed sure but i'm not worried who takes on the Joker role (if anyone)as long as Nolan is in charge because he has given all Batfans the movies and direction we craved after the disaster that was Joel Schumacher. If Joker does return I still say Crispin Glover was born for the role but in Nolan we trust.

I have to agree with The Joker on that point. For the sake of telling the story, keeping it believable, and further developing the strongest characters in the Batman world, the Joker character has to be back for a third film. To simply write him out, no matter how cleverly done, would feel abrupt and people wouldn't buy it, nor will they want to except it. Now tack on the fact that Heath has passed on.... people will know the character was written out of the storyline because Heath was unable to reprise the role. Or at least that is the connection fans will make unfortunately, thereby ruining the authenticity that Nolan has brilliantly captured thus far.

because they arent going to kill off the Joker. Too many people are going to want him in the Batman films if they continue. thats why. Commarade

A more than valid question Comrade.... the answer is no, however the next make-up run I do, which will be soon, I will be shaving it clean off. Too many fans have commented on that particular aspect. So stay tuned and I promise to deliver an even more authentic Joker. The above pic is especially inspirational.

Why are you all suggesting new Jokers? Are you retarded? It would make more sense to write him out of the story, leaving Ledger's interpretation in it's original state and move on with a certain reverence to the character.
And most ridiculously, Daniel Day-Lewis? Johnny Depp? F*cking MARK WAHLBERG? WTF?
    It's not about physical similarity.
I assure you, after seeing this film, most will probably agree that it would be an insult to "replace" ledger in any sequel (which might not happen, regardless of this one's almost guaranteed BO Gross).
