i'm not going to see this movie... i don't care what the plot is [wait a minute. the SAW movies don't have plots], wht actors are going to be in it, or how much money it'll make. I already know it's going to be bad. The franchise is ridiculous. The movies are boring and ponitless. i can't see why so many people like these movies. They're a waste of time. But hey, that's just my opinion. I can understand if poeple have no sense of direction with films. it's alright.
Sorry. Don't think of me as a prick... i'm just in shock that the Saw franchise hasn't died out yet

I'm loving the look of the poster, I'm really hoping this one is gonna show us the back story and development of Hoffman, I found him very fascinating and would love to know more about him.

I think the 4th is my favorite because it told us about him, and you realize this guy is either completely f*cking nuts, or ingenious...lol or maybe both...and that's what I love about these movies. They have morals in them in a f*cked up way and that to me, is unique.
I have the same feelings toward the tv show Nip/Tuck. I love how they make you feel wrong and right at the same time.
What's repetitive? The games? I haven't seen one that was like the other. Even the story is different in each film, or they bring up stuff from the past you never saw and wondered about after you watched the first two films. I can say though, that the 3rd movie did suck ass lol. But that's just me.

I must admit there is a lot of psychology in the film. But somebody has to admit that it gets a little repetitive.

The first SAW movie was my least favorite of the four, and I liked the second one the best. I like them all, and I agree with CludZeroX, they are very good movies, and I too had to think about how number four put the first three together.

Saw had originality and a small cast it was catchy and genious. Saw 2 was a little repetitive but had a bigger cast. 3 and 4 are repetitive and the only reason i will see 5 is for Meagan Good's fine ass

I like 1 and 2 a lot, 3 was pretty good, 4 was good but reguired a lot of thinking about the first 3, I had to watch them over again afterwards to make sure it all added up and everything. It did, honestly
I think that the francise is amazing, they are pulling with back to back releases, but it still has great twists.

They don't mislead, they tip the viewers in the right direction and make them think, then the viewer goes to see the movie out of curiosity. It's a very good plan.

Infact, none of these posters for the SAW movies ever show anything with the posters. I don't remember the first poster. I know that in two I don't remember anything about scragly fingers, and in three there was nothing to do with strung up teeth, so I doubt this guys gonna go walking around wearing Jigsaw's face.

No Sly, his head was never in a scale, but they did show his autopsy.

1) I also liked Saw 1&2 better than the others.
2) James Wan signed a 5 sequel deal with Lionsgate.
3) Was Jigsaw's head really in the scale as depicted in the "Saw IV" poster, cuz 1) I haven't seen it yet, and 2) if it wasn't, then this could just be a grapple poster (as I've said before.)

The franchise is in the pits, has been for a while, but the marketing gurus at Lionsgate have never missed a step.
