New Quarantine Teaser Online!

UGO has posted the first teaser trailer for the new horror film Quarantine, starring Jennifer Carpenter and Jay Hernandez, which opens on October 17. Click below to watch this new video.

Television reporter Angela Vidal (Jennifer Carpenter) and her cameraman (Steve Harris) are assigned to spend the night shift with a Los Angeles Fire Station. After a routine 911 call takes them to a small apartment building, they find police officers already on the scene in response to blood curdling screams coming from one of the apartment units. They soon learn that a woman living in the building has been infected by something unknown. After a few of the residents are viciously attacked, they try to escape with the news crew in tow, only to find that the CDC has quarantined the building. Phones, internet, televisions and cell phone access have been cut-off, and officials are not relaying information to those locked inside. When the quarantine is finally lifted, the only evidence of what took place is the news crew's videotape.

Quarantine was released October 10th, 2008 and stars Jennifer Carpenter, Steve Harris, Jay Hernandez, Johnathon Schaech, Columbus Short, Andrew Fiscella, Rade Serbedzija, Greg Germann. The film is directed by John Erick Dowdle.

Ive seen the origina and as this is basically coping it i can say tht its not liek cloverfiled the camerawork is different and i think this is actually handled better and fives a closer feel and intesifies the action and horror.

well since they are trapped, they are guranteed to have no survivors. plus they pretty much said that in the opening part of the trailer...nice

and i love the thought of the people being trapped in a dark building with no escape from the zombies! .. lol priceless, love that clustraphobic ( < thats not spelled right, right?) feeling in movies. like phantoms, the descent, blair witch, snakes on a plane! .... sh*t! how that last one seek in there!

so what?... like if it wasn't for the likes of Friday the 13th we mightn't of got the slasher movies. it's good when cinema takes a change from the norm.

nah i kind of like that there trapped in the building, keeps it from going any further.. but you know they will leave room for a sequel.. and i agree, here come the cloverfield copy cats

really cool trailer tho. i mean zombies trapped in a building? should expand a lil and have them be on the street. that would be cool. just hope its not too much like cloverfield

The spanish orginal [REC] was an amazing film and actually manaeged to scare me. From the looks of this it looks like a complete duplicate with scneces being exactly ther same. I think this a is a bold move for a company to make seeing as a rec has only just been released. This just looks like a shoddy remake of an already classic film.:)

I wasn't serious about the cloverfield thing, i just meant it looks like the same style as cloverfield. There's no way it's actually a rip-off of it.

-*F*ck yeah I'm in!!! This looks really good and FYI it isn't a Cloverfield riip off it's just filmes in a similar style with all of Cloverfields secrecy and viral marketing there's no way they could've known enough about Cloverfield to steal the plot or anything. I think this looks very scary and intense and it's nice to see Jennifer Carpenter playing someone differant from Debra morgan lol. Just because two films are similar doesn't make one a rip off of the other 28 Days later isn't a Dawn Of The Dead rip off however both have similarities like running zombies. People like to compare movies to other movies too much lol

The Spanish original, [REC], is actually quite good. Definitely better than Cloverfield. This one looks quite the same, only crappier.

Looks like cloverfield and dawn of the dead combined to form a cheasy rip-off.
