New Public Enemies Trailer Comes Out with Guns Blazing

In the action-thriller Public Enemies, acclaimed filmmaker Michael Mann directs Johnny Depp, Christian Bale and Academy Award winner Marion Cotillard in the story of legendary Depression-era outlaw John Dillinger (Depp)-the charismatic bank robber whose lightning raids made him the number one target of J. Edgar Hoover's fledgling FBI and its top agent, Melvin Purvis (Bale), and a folk hero to much of the downtrodden public.

Public Enemies was released July 1st, 2009 and stars James Russo, David Wenham, Christian Stolte, Jason Clarke, Johnny Depp, John Judd, Stephen Dorff, Michael Vieau. The film is directed by Michael Mann.

    this is just off crazy. just caught my eyes and couldn't even think of taking my eyes off till the trailer was completely finished. a crazy ride throughout the trailer. I just wonder what a masterpiece will the movie make.
    another great preformance by the crazy mixing of Christian Bale and Jhonny depp.
    I am liking this so far.

    come on people this is Depp and Bale, what do you expect and its Michael Mann, his like the equivalent to David Fincher in the serial killer thriller genre.

    This looks amazing, i can't wait to see Depp as a robber in 1930s clad, it annoyed me that was prepping to write a John Dilllenger script, but then i found out about this and dropped the whole idea, once i read that Depp and Bale were penned.

    This is one my anticipated movie list along with Transformers and Terminator

    Michael Mann should pick up the Batman torch; I mean, TDK was so frequently compared to Heat as a crime saga, and what does Mann do best?
    Granted, If they do a third Bats, I don't want any of this "they have to top the second one" bullsh*t, because they don't, because there's no way and to expect that from any director/screenwriter is unfair, and for fans to to ask for it will only make a crappy movie that will disappoint them. An elegant, functional sendoff to Batman would work best.

    But people don't think about that. Instead they'll bitch and moan that it "wasn't as good as the second one" simultaneously acknowledging that "there's no way it could have topped it". Which is it, f*cktards!?!?!

    Also, this trailer looks excellent, slysnide is right this will probably be the best of this summer.
