Written and directed by Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor, the Lionsgate sequel stars Jason Statham, Amy Smart, Corey Haim, Bai Ling, Dwight Yoakam, Efren Ramirez, Clifton Collins Jr., Reno Wilson, Simone Bargetze and Danna Hansen.
In the film, hitman Chev Chelios' (Statham) faces a Chinese mobster who has stolen his nearly indestructible heart and replaced it with a battery-powered ticker that requires regular jolts of electricity to keep working.
Crank High Voltage was released April 17th, 2009 and stars Jason Statham, Amy Smart, Dwight Yoakam, Efren Ramirez, Julanne Chidi Hill, Reno Wilson, Keone Young, Art Hsu. The film is directed by Mark Neveldine, Brian Taylor.

From what I have seen so far in clips and sh*t, this movie will be pretty funny and damn cool. Yeah, the story is a waaay out there, but Messenger is right - it's a movie to entertain, not cause you to analyse the piss out of it. Sit the f*ck back, throw your brains to the wind and f*cking enjoy movies again.

to be honest the firt time I saw the first film in the theater I was hadly entertained. But one day I netflix it and laughed my ass from beginning to end, I ended up buying it, cause it's really funny. So I have hopes that this will be funny also, but probably not 'amazing'
