The Green Hornet made his debut on January 31, 1936 on WXYZ Detroit, the creation of the station's George W. Trendle and Fran Striker, who also created the The Lone Ranger. The series, which ran until 1952 on the Mutual and NBC Blue networks, followed the adventures of Britt Reid, a bored playboy whose life is changed when he inherits his father's crusading newspaper, The Daily Sentinel. He saves the life of Kato, a Japanese man with incredible technical and martial-arts skills, who becomes Britt's closest ally -- and transforms Britt's car into the supercharged Black Beauty, which gives them an edge as they search for evidence to expose the city's underworld in the newspaper. When Britt and Kato witness a brutal mob hit, Britt invents his secret identity -- taking his name from his powerful car's defective horn. A skilled fighter and expert marksman, the The Green Hornet uses two special, non-lethal guns to subdue criminals: one fires a potent knockout gas while the other produces the "Hornet's Sting" -- an electric shock. The Green Hornet is being directed by Michel Gondry, and it stars Seth Rogen, Nicolas Cage, Cameron Diaz, Jay Chou, Edward James Olmos, David Harbour, and Tom Wilkinson. The film opens December 17th, 2009.

The Green Hornet was released January 14th, 2011 and stars Seth Rogen, Jay Chou, Cameron Diaz, Tom Wilkinson, Christoph Waltz, David Harbour, Edward James Olmos, Jamie Harris. The film is directed by Michel Gondry.

i think it was just the outfits he wore in Observe and Report. he wore alot of tighter shirts in that movie. but yeah he was a bit heavier, and definitely lost a lot of weight. this looks pretty cool.

Really? Dang.. cuz he wasn't that fat before..I mean look at Zack and Miri, and then Knocked Up. He was fat then too, but in O&R he was scary looking.

He didn't gain for Observe & Report. He was heavy, then he lost weight.

  7. The Narrator: The Better Man

I can't wait. I am still sorta shaky on Rogen, but he seems to be really into this, and lost a LOT of weight after gaining for Observe and Report.
