The first shows Goku (Justin Chatwin) avoiding a blow from Piccolo (James Marsters), while the second two photos show off two of the lovely Dragonball ladies - Eriko Tamura as Mai, and Jamie Chung as Chi-Chi. Check out the photos below.
Dragonball is based off the Akira Toryama manga comic and the film stars Justin Chatwin, James Marsters, Jamie Chung, Emmy Rossum, Eriko Tamura, Joon Park, Chow Yun-Fat, Texas Battle, Randall Duk Kim and Ernie Hudson. The film is set to open on April 10, 2009.
Dragonball Evolution was released April 10th, 2009 and stars Justin Chatwin, Chow Yun-Fat, Emmy Rossum, Jamie Chung, James Marsters, Joon Park, Eriko Tamura, Randall Duk Kim. The film is directed by James Wong.

I agree LEO, they should have just had this appeal to the real DB fans.. even though we will all be seeing this, we will be the only ones seeing it, and instead of making a kick ass Live Action DBZ that could appeal to action junkies who arnt even DBZ fans, they are turning around and making a non-authentic, campy, piece of sh*t... to hell 20th century, to hell.

I know they use guns in DB Phat, i've watched the whole series but im saying like why don't they update it a little. I agree with LEO in that they are trying to appeal to the audience who haven't seen DB by using variables that they are not familiar with i.e. kamehameha beams. And by using guns, although it is sticking to the variables of DB (because people in DB were not familiar with saiyins and their enemies' powers), this movie will also be typical of 21st century movies, which have constant use of guns.

What they're trying to do is appeal to the audience that hasn't seen Dragonball. And this is total bulls**t for two reasons:
1. It should appeal to us, the DRAGONBALL FANS. We are the ones who love the show, so it should be geared toward US.
2. Those who haven't seen Dragonball are either those who just plain haven't seen it, or are Dragonball Haters. Dragonball is a show that you either love or you hate (I'm one of the one's who loves it), and those who hate it will DEFINITELY not see it. So by trying to appeal to those who haven't seen it, they are appealing to an INSIGNIFICANT, TINY, MINISCULE AUDIENCE THAT'S SO SMALL, IT SHOULDN'T EXIST.
And because of these reasons, it's goint to get NO money in the box office, it's gonna bomb big time, and the sequels will get cancelled. It's inevitable. Everyone here's thinkin' it, I'm just saying it.
The only way they can save it now is if they reboot it like they did with the Incredible Hulk. And this time, do it right.

Hope the movie turns out way better but all im hoping 4 is Goku's signature move (KAMEHAMEHA WAVE 4 THOSE THAT DONT KNOW). As lon as that aint crap then im good. Also the best videogame movie out there is SILENT HILL.

I agree that this movie doesn't look too great--at the moment, but i still have high hopes for it, since stephen chow is overseeing the project as producer. I absolutely love his films, especially shaolin soccer. So maybe some of that charm will rub off onto the film and its director James Wong.
And btw, wth are you talking about? Mortal Kombat being bad? That was actually the only decent videogame movie ever made, it was the sequel that was horrible.
