    the novelty of natalie portman wore off ages ago. im not denying that she is a good actress, im just saying i no longer get excited to find out that she is in something.

    and its a love story.
    AND i cant remember the last time i saw jude law in a movie that was of any interest to me.

    but i will look up this wong kar wai guy, i trust the opinions of many of you, my movieweb co-habitants.

    Wow! An American made film that will have equal amounts of style and substance. I love Wong Kar Wai's films, Fallen Angels is a personal favourite.

    This is 1 film I can't wait to see!
    I know that "My Blueberry Nights" was the opening film for the 2007 Cannes Film Festival on May 16, 2007. I love director Wong Kar Wai, his film "Happy Together" is very good!
    Can't wait to see what Norah Jones can do as an actress!

    I really think Wong Kar Wai belongs in the conversation with Zhang Yimou, Ang Lee, and Kim Ki Duk as one of the best active asian filmmakers. Glad to see the Weinstein's are taking a chance and giving him a good American cast.
