A theater director (Hoffman) struggles with his work, and the women in his life, as he attempts to create a life-size replica of New York inside a warehouse as part of his new play.

The film doesn't have a release date announced as of yet.

Synecdoche, New York was released October 24th, 2008 and stars Philip Seymour Hoffman, Catherine Keener, Sadie Goldstein, Tom Noonan, Peter Friedman, Charles Techman, Josh Pais, Daniel London. The film is directed by Charlie Kaufman.
