Percy Jackson and the Olympians: Lightning Thief stars Pierce Brosnan, Uma Thurman, Sean Bean, Kevin McKidd, Melina Kanakaredes, Logan Lerman, Brandon T. Jackson, Alexandra Daddario, Catherine Keener, Rosario Dawson, Steve Coogan and will be released in theaters nationwide on February 12, 2010.

Percy Jackson & the Olympians: Lightning Thief was released February 12th, 2010 and stars Logan Lerman, Brandon T. Jackson, Alexandra Daddario, Trent Jones, Jake Abel, Sean Bean, Pierce Brosnan, Steve Coogan. The film is directed by Chris Columbus.

    the film maybe good to watch, we'll find out. This and Septimus Heap is suppose to replace Harry Potter once that franchise is finished.
    At one time Heap was suppose to be live action.

    i was putzin around work the other day and seen this book and decided to purchase it.. im really really glad to see that its going to be a film.. ide hope to see a full trailer soon not just this teaser crap

    This won't be that good.

    First of all, it's from the director of the first 2 harry potter movies. The basically said, "this is a new fantasy series adapted from books...let's get the Harry Potter guy." Makes sense, ya, but those movies were...toddler level. Second, the cast screams "B-movie." Pierce Brosnan and Uma Thurman in the same flick doesn't sit well with me for some reason. And third...I can tell just from this teaser the kid will suck at acting.

    Maybe I'll be wrong, but I'm thinking this movie will be mediocre at best. They're trying to cash in on the book adaptation success, hoping this will be the next "big thing" but I doubt it will be. Guess we'll have to see. I haven't read the book, so there's that, too.

    No not at all, but it does look a bit interesting. The only way that i could really tell if this movie is going to be good or not, is by seeing more trailers, pics, and a few clips....
