New Moon Directing Gig Offered to Chris Weitz?
It seems that Weitz and Summit Entertainment's president of production, Eric Feig, are longtime friends and Summit enjoyed Weitz's visual direction on The Golden Compass.
The site did mention that there hasn't been official confirmation of this offer as of yet. We'll surely keep you posted on any new developments in this ongoing New Moon saga.
Twilight was released November 21st, 2008 and stars Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Billy Burke, Peter Facinelli, Elizabeth Reaser, Cam Gigandet, Ashley Greene, Christian Serratos. The film is directed by Catherine Hardwicke.
The Twilight Saga: New Moon was released November 20th, 2009 and stars Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, Robert Pattinson, Billy Burke, Ashley Greene, Anna Kendrick, Christian Serratos, Michael Welch. The film is directed by Chris Weitz.

Wow! New Moon will be great with Chris Weitz as the director. The Golden Compass was visually amazing and I bet New Moon will be as great when he's on the chair. Weitz made Iorek Brynison look good hopefully be the same on the New Moon Werewolves. I know readers (like myself) always love the book than the film but films are made for those who don't want to read the books. And some films do justice to the books, I hope New Moon will be one of them. Can't wait to see this one. Can't wait to see the Volturi.

Never heard of this guy...just like I, and everyone else, didn't know anything about Twilight until the movie news was out.
