According to Variety, New Line is pitching a tent with Happy Campers, buying the comedy spec from scribes Peter Gaulke and Gerry Swallow (Black Knight).

The script is about a mild-mannered accountant who, in order to convince his son that he's tough and cool, agrees to lead a class camping trip.

Tapestry Films' Andrew Panay, Peter Abrams and Robert Levy are producing.

Trio produced Wedding Crashers, which is turning into a summer sleeper hit for New Line.
