Will Ferrell stars as has-been scientist Dr. Rick Marshall, sucked into one and spat back through time. Way back. Now, Marshall has no weapons, few skills and questionable smarts to survive in an alternate universe full of marauding dinosaurs and fantastic creatures from beyond our world-a place of spectacular sights and super-scaled comedy known as the Land of the Lost.
Land of the Lost was released June 5th, 2009 and stars Will Ferrell, Anna Friel, Danny McBride, Jorma Taccone, John Boylan, Matt Lauer, Bobb'e J. Thompson, Sierra McCormick. The film is directed by Brad Silberling.

Lmfao. This movie is actually near the top of my "Want To See" list. Not the one on my page, the one in my mind. LMFAO!!!!! This is the first Will Ferrell movie that I've actually looked forward to. It's going to be awesome.

I grew up watching this show on saturday mornings and this film looks nothing like the show. Rick Marshall was NOT an idiot and he had his two kids with him the whole time. He actually kisses the girl later in the trailer and the guy is NOT his son. I mean, the trailer looks GREAT, special fx are outstanding BUT c'mon,at least follow the show a little, other than just putting them back in time and another world. I like Will's movies but this one I think can wait until DVD. Way too many other films out there to spend my money on.

yea they just rode the 3d effect through tha whole movie never really giving us the true story behind the whole Center of the earth thing it kind of left me wanting to read the book

yeah my dad said the same thing about journey to the center of the earth, and hes generally pretty indiscriminate about movies.
