300 was a break out hit for Avi Lerner's Millennium Films. According to Variety, the company has set its sights on updating Hercules next.

Sean Hood has already written the script, but its contents are being kept secret. No director has been signed yet. We're assuming he will still be a mythological Greek God, but one never knows.
