Voldemort is tightening his grip on both the Muggle and wizarding worlds and Hogwarts is no longer the safe haven it once was. Harry suspects that dangers may even lie within the castle, but Dumbledore is more intent upon preparing him for the final battle that he knows is fast approaching. Together they work to find the key to unlock Voldemort's defenses and, to this end, Dumbledore recruits his old friend and colleague, the well-connected and unsuspecting bon vivant Professor Horace Slughorn, whom he believes holds crucial information. Meanwhile, the students are under attack from a very different adversary as teenage hormones rage across the ramparts. Harry finds himself more and more drawn to Ginny, but so is Dean Thomas. And Lavender Brown has decided that Ron is the one for her, only she hadn't counted on Romilda Vane's chocolates! And then there's Hermione, simpering with jealously but determined not to show her feelings. As romance blossoms, one student remains aloof. He is determined to make his mark, albeit a dark one. Love is in the air, but tragedy lies ahead and Hogwarts may never be the same again.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince was released July 15th, 2009 and stars Daniel Radcliffe, Michael Gambon, Dave Legeno, Elarica Gallacher, Jim Broadbent, Geraldine Somerville, Bonnie Wright, Julie Walters. The film is directed by David Yates.

    Now that it got a bloody PG rating im not sure. I loved the books but dang PG, whats wrong with making it PG-13. Pretty much all the fans are above 13 now.

    That scene with Malfoy...looking in the mirror in the bathroom is one of my favorite scenes from the books(I won't spoil whats so great about them)..others include...the scene between him and Harry on the train(Second) and the fight with snape (Number One fav) I just love the whole "FIGHT BACK YOU COWARDLY--"
    but they changed it to "FIGHT BACK YOU COWARD--" in the film....

    This is going to be excellent. I wonder, though, how many more trailers for this they plan to put out. I'd rather see the whole movie in order, rather than through trailers, you know? At any rate, this is an excellent trailer, and has furthered my hype for the movie!!!!!

    i think that was the best trailer yet really im more hyped for this then anything this summer, yes i know it the summer of x-men of autobots and gi joe's but really i know this movie is going to be amazing really i cant wait no more, read the book for the 2nd time just to hold me over lol
