New G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra Behind-the-Scenes Clip and TV Spot!

Paramount Pictures just released another TV spot for G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra. In addition, a new behind-the-scenes video has surfaced of director Stephen Sommers explaining the Accelerator Suit chase scene through Paris. Check the out below!



G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra is the live-action feature based on Hasbro's line of action figures.

While some remember the character from its gung-ho fighting man '60s incarnation, he's evolved. G.I. Joe is now a Brussels-based outfit that stands for Global Integrated Joint Operating Entity, an international co-ed force of operatives who use hi-tech equipment to battle Cobra, an evil organization headed by a double-crossing Scottish arms dealer.

G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra comes to theaters August 7 from Paramount Pictures and stars Dennis Quaid, Channing Tatum, Sienna Miller, Ray Park, Rachel Nichols, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Said Taghmaoui, Marlon Wayans, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Arnold Vosloo and Christopher Eccleston.

G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra was released August 7th, 2009 and stars Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Christopher Eccleston, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Byung-hun Lee, Sienna Miller, Rachel Nichols, Ray Park, Jonathan Pryce. The film is directed by Stephen Sommers.

I would probably like you if you said smart, cool, or clever things. No joke. If you did any of those three, I'd probably be "nicer" to you even though you were the first person to actually start the fighting between us by attacking me (in case you forgot). I just think you owe me an apology from a while ago but since you put on this tough guy show it's kinda hard to communicate with you when you're making yourself look like an ass.     This movie looks awful idustrial light and magic has set the bar so high when comes to special effects just look at the transformers movies on megatron you can see the rust spots and the welding and you can see every gear in jet fire and this year they also did the star trek special effects and terminator and and harry potter also those kids on those broom sticks looks so realistic and look at iron which they have done also they had done a real suit and animated you can't tell the difference but gi joe 's special effects look like playstation 2 they

    if this were just an action flick, all talk on the web would be about how awesome this is and how ppl can't wait to see it (and possibly how they hope they franchise it and make more installments). HOWEVER, since it is a film about a CLASSIC cartoon/toy line that has a built in fan base with realistic and specific expectations, these previews are unexciting and leave JOE fans with a pit in their stomach thinking it's an EPIC FAIL as a GI JOE film. I'm one of them... so far I'm highly unimpressed.
    Either it's awesome (and their marketing team needs to be fired) or it's as bad as the previews show (which is my fear... great action flick/failure as a GI JOE film).

    i never enjoyed the Mummy movies, but for Michael Bay movies, they great for action thats it, i dont watch it for acting ability or oscar worthy, you can not deny Michael Bay puts out decent action films, beyond that in his films is nothing

    obviously a 2 min clip of various scenes isnt the entire movie, people need to make coherent sentences instead of idiotic sh*t, yes the movie appears to be sh*tty with the suits and the way the CGI is but you will still see it regardless to see the outcome and the appearance of Cobra Commander

    "Global Integrated Joint Operating Entity" talk about trying to be P.C. for those interested here is the "official" meaning of gijoe
    A nickname for United States soldiers, particularly during World War II. GI is short for government issue, a deive term for supplies distributed by the government. I can only hope that this goes the way of "godzilla" pushed by sony in the 90's
