New Friday the 13th Behind the Scenes Photos
Horror Bid has published a couple of very scary pics that feature the new Jason Voorhees walking around the set of Friday the 13th without his mask on. That’s right, now you can check out actor Derek Mears and his funky prosthetic eye without that pesky hokey mask getting in the way. Just take a gander at these spooky images below:

Friday the 13th was released February 13th, 2009 and stars Jared Padalecki, Danielle Panabaker, Amanda Righetti, Travis Van Winkle, Aaron Yoo, Derek Mears, Jonathan Sadowski, Julianna Guill. The film is directed by Marcus Nispel.

She won't Soccarplaya. She's going to be in flashbacks, is what I heard. It'll be like half the movie with baghead Jason. Then he finds his mask, and throughout he has flashbacks to when his Mom terrorized the kids. Like I said, that's how I heard it anyway.

I was honestly get worried about another remake of a great classic. But this is looking rather interesting. Hopefully Jason does get a lot of camera time. But I'm honestly hoping that they have Pam Voorhees have a huge part, REALLY huge part like the original.

Dawn of the dead rocked. Ya can't go wrong with snyder, and that was his first film. Pretty awesome for a newbie.
This guy is hella tall and buff...i would've said "hella big" but a couple of people might have made a peverted joke out of it :)

i liked the remake of dawn of the dead, also, but my friend for whom the original was his favorite movie ever, he hated it.
haaaaaated it.
he explained his perspective to me, which was pretty much just loyalist nonsense, including the "it didn't even take place in pittsburgh!" argument ive heard too many times.
i liked the remake though, despite all the tragically bad zombie movies i have seen since, all of which i watched because i assumed they would all use dotd as a measuring stick for quality... which they did not.

Not sure how this will turn out remakes and all. They shouldnt have releashed pics of Jason's face so early though. but whatever could be cool

yeah, comrade, i read somewhere that this is more like a remake of the first couple movies, and clearly they are taking all the liberties in the world with the storyline.
im looking forward to doing some bonghits one saturday morning in the distant future and laughing my way through this movie on dvd.
should be fun.

Dawn of the Dead remake was the only zombie movie that I've really liked and thought was realistic.
Btw ComradeHenson, they mentioned in an article I think two weeks ago I think can't remember, anyway, that they are focusing more on him being the central killer than the mother this time around. Something along those lines anyway.

Looking at the face it reminds of Tom Savini's make up effects from the original Friday the 13th, I wonder if they drew inspiration from that, or if Savini was involved, either way it looks really good.

Well Vampire2000, your opinion sucks. The 2004 remake of DOTD was pretty good. But hey, were all entitled yo our opinions. And I think yours sucks. I guess we'll have to agree to disagree. Anyhow, I'm kinda' bummed too that we all already know what Jason looks like now. But at least we know he looks pretty damn ugly, hallelujah!
