interesting choice for a TV show remake. Potential to nab all those High School Musical fans who are teenagers now, & to go into a TV show like the original. But....ah....npot my cup of tea. The TV show in the 80's wasnt either. Points for an honest attempt though

    1. LAME LOGO - bad font choice
    2. Good preview - but because of all the dance school movies that have come out already it is really going to have to have something that sets it apart. Just using the same name and story approach as the 80's show isn't going to be enough. Step Up, Save the Last Dance, etc. have already been done (plus all the dance/music tv shows) - this franchise is about to be worn out (if it's not already).
    3. It's weird seeing Frasier and Karen Walker in the preview. Both are amazing actors (both with theater backgrounds), but because of their recognition as some of tv's most famous characters, it may be hard to see them in their instructor roles.
    4. I like the cinematography - but that's hard to judge fully in a preview.
    5. "Achieve your dreams" movies are definitely worn out. Some are good, despite being in a worn out genre, but this one (again) will have to work hard to set it self apart.

That said, I think I will see this, if for no other reason my appreciation for the original series.

I better see Kelsey Grammar rapping. I would pay through the nose for that.
