    WOW! Looks like an end to a perfectly sweet series. This is a joke. A movie was not what DB needed. If any thing they could of used a new anime series. They could of called DBZ Legends and made it about Goku Jr.,But instead they are gonna mess up something that I have love for years. Im DBs biggest fan...and I dont even wanna watch this abortion of a movie. Look at master Roshi!!! I mean come on. Thanks for screwing up everything good that is DB.

    Ya, it's an adaptation called "Warcraft" eyeing a 2009 release. The producers of superman returns r producing, but they still need a screenwriter, so i doubt it will be released next year

    Personally, I was always hoping they would make a Dragonball movie, with the three titles, they've got a trilogy to work with. But I had an entirely different dream cast in mind. I was always afraid that if this movie was actually taken on and considered for production, they would find a way to mess it up. Visually, it isn't an easy story to pull off on a live action scale. There would have to be top notch martial artists, outlandish but partially realistic choreography, a lot of wire work, state of the art special effects stunning enough to convince the audience of what they see as real, and a director that has the visual scope to see this film be a success. I'm not too sure about James Wong for the latter. He may have vision, but is it enough to pull this off? Raymond Chow is producing it. Kung Fu Hustle and Shaolin Soccer weren't in my list of favorites by far, but I still got a kick out of his way of translating certain fantastic elements in the look of the movies. Can he do it with this? Justin Chatwin is not Goku he doesn't have the look, Chow Yun Fat is not charismatic enough to be Master Roshi. If they had just started with Z, I could have seen Robin Sho or Ernie Reyes Jr. as Goku, Ray Park as Vegita, Gerard Butler or Wesley Snipes as Piccolo, and so on. But that won't happen. And I'm not so sure about this movie, a lot of special effects overshadowing the actors, or an abundance of visually stunning back drops will not be enough to make this our dream Dragonball movie.
