New Beverly Hills Cop 4 Updates

Two somewhat-conflicting reports have just surfaced on the status of an upcoming sequel. Moviehole reported that Derek Haas and Michael Brandt's spec script Dying Day was to be reworked into the story for Beverly Hills Cop 4, but that might not be the case.

Collider is now reporting that the studio is currently seeking a new writer for the film and is looking to start the sequel over from scratch.

Moviehole also reported that Judge Reinhold and John Ashton would reprise their roles as Rosewood and Taggart for the sequel, but Collider's source indicates that it isn't clear yet who would return for the sequel.

We'll be sure to keep you posted on any and all Beverly Hills Cop 4 updates as soon as we have more information.

My story for the next Mad Max movie:

Max finally makes his way to "Paradise" where the tribe he defended in The Road Warrior was heading, and finds the Feral Kid leading the tribe, like was suggested eventually took place in the narration near the end of the movie.

With Max having found Paradise, a new last desperate gang tries to take over the tribes settlement. Max has to help fend off the new gang. By the end of the movie, we start to see signs civilization returning, as a clan from another settlement, who Max befriended during his travels, comes over to the Feral Kid's clan to help defeat the attacking evil horde. And as the credits start to role, the "gyro captain" gives Max a scruffy black and brown dog and says, "He keeps eating my Dinky Dee".

They better f**king change the story, because I don't want them to kill off Billy Rosewood, like was suggested not long ago. Everybody loves Billy, because he kicks ass in every one!

Don't f**k with the Rosewood character you *ssholes!

And Remy72883, I'd rather see Mad Max 4, than Lethal Weapon 5. LW4 closed the book on the series nicely. They should leave it alone. Nice even number. Mad Max is still out there wandering the wasteland, and without even a dog for a friend, for crying out loud! And I want to see a new version of the V8 Interceptor. One more Road Warrior or Mad Max (whatever you want to call it), to get that weak assed, kid oriented f**king Thunderdome out of my mind!

i could see this working but is rather see a Lethal Weapon 5 than this. when it comes to cop comedy action movies Mel Gibson, Danny Glover, Joe Pesci own those type's of films, hands downs

The thing Murphy NEEDS to do is go back to his roots. His career is dead.

nah man i'm pretty sure the old foul-mouthed and hilarious eddie murphy is dead and gone. i would be shocked if he ever picked up a mic and told some jokes to a live audience ever again.

Thats exactly the problem ChuChi, he should get back to his roots, doing dirty comedy/action movies. Even stand ups wouldn't hurt him....
