New Battle for Terra One-Sheet and Images Arrive!
Roadside Attractions has revealed a brand new one-sheet poster and a new image gallery for Battle for Terra, which is set for release on May 1. Click on the poster image below to access the entire gallery for this new film, which stars the voices of Evan Rachel Wood, Brian Cox, Luke Wilson, David Cross, Justin Long, Amanda Peet, Dennis Quaid, Chris Evans, James Garner and Rosanna Arquette.
A peaceful alien planet faces annihilation, as the homeless remainder of the human race sets its eyes on Terra. Mala, a rebellious Terrian teenager, will do everything she can to stop it.
Battle for Terra was released May 1st, 2009 and stars Chad Allen, Rosanna Arquette, Bill Birch, Brooke Bloom, Tom Connolly, Brian Cox, David Cross, Beverly D'Angelo. The film is directed by Aristomenis Tsirbas.

Again - relatively impressive visuals (I like the design of the Human vessels, does portray a "we are the scary aliens" feel) but I can't take the title seriously. Terra is Earth, and humans are technically Terrans - to name an alien planet Terra is lazy and shows bad taste by the scriptwriters.

The trailer made it look a lot deeper than the usual schmultzy pixar crap we're used to seeing. At least the Incredibles had identifiable characters.

I'm anticipating this movie for some reason...I think I'm on a sci-fi high because I've been playing Mass Effect and the teaser for the sequel was just released
