The awesome teaser trailer just came out a week ago, and you can watch it here. Check out the new posters below!

The Universal Pictures film begins in German-occupied France, where Shosanna Dreyfus (Mélanie Laurent) witnesses the execution of her family at the hand of Nazi Colonel Hans Landa (Christoph Waltz). Shosanna narrowly escapes and flees to Paris, where she forges a new identity as the owner and operator of a cinema.
Elsewhere in Europe, Lieutenant Aldo Raine (Brad Pitt) organizes a group of Jewish soldiers to engage in targeted acts of retribution. Known to their enemy as "The Basterds," Raine's squad joins German actress and undercover agent Bridget Von Hammersmark (Diane Kruger) on a mission to take down the leaders of The Third Reich. Fates converge under a cinema marquee, where Shosanna is poised to carry out a revenge plan of her own...
Inglourious Basterds was released August 21st, 2009 and stars Brad Pitt, Mélanie Laurent, Christoph Waltz, Eli Roth, Michael Fassbender, Diane Kruger, Daniel Brühl, Til Schweiger. The film is directed by Quentin Tarantino.

Like i stated Comrade, when i did my first comment on this article, the only poster here, was the one at the top.
The other 3 weren't here, the ones with the shotgun, bat & knife weren't here. But that is the style i expect to see from a poster advertising a QT film.
The last 3 are wicked, interesting, and as you stated anticipation and iconography.
But the first one is dull, basic and sh*t. I don;t expect that from a film that is advertising a film by QT

Ottley, WTF*ck? They're posters! Are you seriously going to A) pass judgement on Tarantino for something he probably didn't even have control over B) Judge a movie based on posters?
Besides, I think they look damn good. Far from dull, they have an anticipation and iconography to them.

Cloverfield was more interesting because the main marketing ploy to it was...curiousity.
No one hardly knew anything and were just making assumptions.
At first no one knew the title, which got leaked into the previews of the popcorn flick of the years, which was Transformers.
Then all they knew was there was a monster and no one knew what it look like.
The marketing ploys are quite different, but i get your point.
Your more interested going into a movie not knowing what it's about but having seen a bit of it and still not knowing what it's about.

mBrandon11, clearly your don't read before you make your incoherent statements.
see that big capitalised word in the beginning of the article's title, notify yourself it says 'UPDATED.'
I placed my comment in this article when there was on the one poster at the top, which is sh*t. The 3 below it are brilliant, that is what I expect to see from Tarantino unique visual auteurism.
Not some sh*tty poster with just the title and a clouded background to portray an amateurish photoshop job.
And QT is no where near simplicity, if you actually believe QT is about clear simplicity, then making a simile about your stupidity is clearly mission impossible.

Wow...these are very cool and provocative, mission accomplished! As I've said before, this movie will be a return to form for Tarantino. The director's cut dvd should be amazing also.

Clockworkcookie
Holocaust movies are getting old, tired and overdone. They are banalizing the actual history to such an extreme that these days I am put off merely by knowing that the movie is about it, no matter who the actors or director are. Honestly, there are billions of things to make movies about in History.... Unless you're going for an Oscar of course... XP
