Neal McDonough is taking on the horror/thriller, The Hitcher for Rogue Pictures.

The film is the remake of the 1986 horror film; Dave Meyers is directing. The Hollywood Reporter says he will play a career lawman who tries to aid two college students (Sophia Bush, Zach Knighton). The pair are being terrorized by a murderous hitchhiker.

The Hitcher is currently shooting in New Mexico; April 13, 2007 has been set as the release date.

The Hitcher was released January 19th, 2007 and stars Sean Bean, Sophia Bush, Zachary Knighton, Neal McDonough, Kyle Davis, Skip O'Brien, Travis Schuldt, Danny Bolero. The film is directed by Dave Meyers.
