Vince Vaughn in talks to star in Neighborhood Watch
Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg are writing the screenplay, which centers on a Neighborhood Watch group in a sleepy community. The group is really just a front for the middle-aged fathers to spend some time away from their families. Things take a turn for the worse, though, when they uncover a plot to destroy the world.
Akiva Schaffer (Hot Rod) is directing Neighborhood Watch. It isn't known when production will start on this suburban comedy quite yet.
The Watch was released July 27th, 2012 and stars Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn, Jonah Hill, Richard Ayoade, Rosemarie DeWitt, Will Forte, Mel Rodriguez, Doug Jones. The film is directed by Akiva Schaffer.
