NBC has ordered full seasons of its freshman series Chuck and Life. According to Variety, both shows have been given a back nine order.

The shows would have been granted full seasons earlier if it hadn't have been for the writers' strike. Both series seem to be gathering a loyal following. And NBC sees them as having growth potential in the coming years.

NBC's Ben Silverman stated, "Both shows are hitting their stride creatively, have developed loyal audiences and offer unlimited potential to grow throughout the season."

There was no word on when either series would head back into production to finish out the season, though.
