NBC Picks Up Gary Scott Thompson for Knight Rider

NBC is revving up its Knight Rider series, signing on The Fast and the Furious writer Gary Scott Thompson to serve as an exec producer and showrunner.

According to Variety, Thompson would help up the quality of special effects on Knight Rider. "Action and effects are going to be a real priority for us on this show," Katherine Pope said.
