Natalie Portman wanted for Jupiter Ascending
The actress is seriously considering the project, which would mark her first project back after giving birth to her son, Aleph, in June. Jupiter Ascending won't begin shooting until this fall, which will give the actress more time with her newborn. A rep for Natalie Portman would not comment on the story.
Little is known about the plot of Jupiter Ascending, except that it marks Andy Wachowski and Lana Wachowski's return to their sci-fi roots. We first reported on Jupiter Ascending back in October, which will certainly be Andy Wachowski and Lana Wachowski's next project after they finish post-production on Cloud Atlas.
Jupiter Ascending comes to theaters in 2014 and stars Mila Kunis, Channing Tatum, Eddie Redmayne, Sean Bean, Tuppence Middleton, Douglas Booth, Kick Gurry, Jeremy Swift. The film is directed by Andy Wachowski, Lana Wachowski.
