Actress Natalie Portman has signed on to both of director Terrence Malick's new movies which shoot back to back this year, Knight of Cups and Lawless. These are the first movies she has committed to since winning the Best Actress Oscar last year for Black Swan.

Knight of Cups will start shooting this summer, and has Christian Bale, Cate Blanchett, and Isabel Lucas attached to star. Lawless begins production in the fall, and stars Christian Bale, Ryan Gosling, Rooney Mara, Cate Blanchett, Haley Bennett, and Justin Wheelon.

We reported last year that FilmNation will be distributing both Knight of Cups and Lawless, which will be released in 2013. As is the case with most Terrence Malick projects, no story details have been released for either movie.

Knight of Cups comes to theaters in 2013 and stars Christian Bale, Isabel Lucas, Cate Blanchett, Natalie Portman. The film is directed by Terrence Malick.

Lawless comes to theaters in 2013 and stars Christian Bale, Ryan Gosling, Rooney Mara, Cate Blanchett, Haley Bennett, Justin Wheelon, Natalie Portman. The film is directed by Terrence Malick.

Based on the casts, I'm having trouble deciding which one is going to be more Oscar worthy, if not both.

Pretty awesome casts. Instead of how I acted with Tree of Life, I'll say now that I want to see these.

Tremendous casts. Cannot wait. Now I hear The Master has finished ahead of schedule and is coming out later this year instead of 2013. What an awesome day this has been.
