Mysterious Firefly Reunion Photo Means...?
Nathan Fillion revealed a new photo today that shows him hanging out with his former Firefly co-stars Joss Whedon, Adam Baldwin, and Alan Tudyk, suggesting there is something "reuniting" going on. It appears they are clinging to a tree and mysteriously looking up at the sky.

Could there be a new Firefly project or a reunion of some sort in the works?

People love working with joss. U can find Many qoutes.
I could see why they would. It was a good experience and they received positive results for it.

Fair enough. But allow us to speculate :)

Filion released the picture, not Whedon. All this says to me, for now, is that Nathan has remained friends with the boys. Until I hear something of substance, I'm not going to speculate. I just did that with the whole "who will be Spider-Man" debate, and I have no desire to do so right now. Would I like another Firefly movie? No, I would love it. But I want more than a picture; I want an announcement. For all we know, this may just be PR for the Serenity comic.

@ejk1 this is true, but if it's nothing, why release the picture? I'd like to believe Whedon wouldn't mess with his fans' minds. Maybe something is in store after Avengers.

There could be a prequel to Serenity. There could be a sequel to Serenity. There could be nothing. Everyone should stop reading too much into a damned picture, and wait for concrete news.

I know its against the "rules" but c'mon, it simply wouldn't be Firefly without Wash

could take place at a different time in the mythos. They really could set it anytime and I would be game.

If Tudyk did return then it would have to be in a dream like state.

When a character dies they should stay dead that's all I'm saying, but I would be on board for another film anytime. I just think that it's time that they start having aliens in that universe.

if this is an attempt at a Firefly film, I would be there. Didn't one of them die in the last film, I hope they don't pull a Spock 'revive a character'

Could it be? Do I give myself permission to hope that a revival could be possible?
