According to The Hollywood Reporter, My Little Pony could be the first Hasbro property to be turned into a TV series for a cable channel that is a joint venture between Hasbro and Discovery.

Hasbro Studios has put My Little Pony on the fast track. The studio is also looking into other Hasbro brands that can be turned into TV series. The studio got really high on the show after the one-hour special My Little Pony: Twinkle Wish Adventure performed really well on the Disney Channel when it aired November 6.

My Little Pony would undergo a multi-platform development for TV. Hasbro Studios is looking into video game and other digital extensions.
