My Bloody Valentine 3D Brings the Scares to DVD and Blu-ray on May 19th

You can bring a whole new dimension to this horror remake on DVD and Blu-ray this May. My Bloody Valentine 3D will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on May 19. We have no pricing details or cover art as of yet, but we do know that the film will include both the 2D and 3D versions of the film, and there will be four sets of 3D glasses included. The film stars Jaime King, Jensen Ackles, Kerr Smith and Edi Gathegi.

Ten years ago, a tragedy changed the town of Harmony forever. Tom Hanniger, an inexperienced coal miner, caused an accident in the tunnels that trapped and killed five men and sent the only survivor, Harry Warden, into a permanent coma. But Harry Warden wanted revenge. Exactly one year later, on Valentine's Day, he woke up...and brutally murdered twenty-two people with a pickaxe before being killed.

Ten years later, Tom Hanniger returns to Harmony on Valentine's Day, still haunted by the deaths he caused. Struggling to make amends with his past, he grapples with unresolved feelings for his ex-girlfriend, Sarah, who is now married to his best friend, Axel, the town sheriff. But tonight, after years of peace, something from Harmony's dark past has returned. Wearing a miner's mask and armed with a pickaxe, an unstoppable killer is on the loose. And as his footsteps come ever closer, Tom, Sarah and Axel realize in terror that it just might be Harry Warden who's come back to claim them...

WOW ....THAT WAS FAST May 26th, 2009 & it was "JUST" in theat in Jan. 2009!!....
    ..
Nice that there will be a set of 3-D glasses included......that was my 1 question!

I saw this in theater "IN" the 3-D format which was cool..Not great "Journey to the Center of the Earth 3-D" was better in terms of the usage of 3-D!....Another film that I'am glad that I held out and used my AMC gift certificates for, and didn't waste my money...My Bloody Valentine 3-D should have had a more coherent plot...Better fleshed out characters..and more scares...but over-all somewhat fair and fun..forgettable..really

    it was forgettable!!

    Give me the orginial!

Yahoo! That's quick! I just hope the glasses will work well because it didn't with "Spy kids 3"! Too bad we cannot use the 3D glasses we received in the theatre and all kept...

Glad there's going to be a pair of glasses. I unfortunately didn't get to see this in 3-D. But I'll probably have to rent this again to make sure I want to buy it.
