A new untitled reality show that revolves around finding the next leading lady for the stage version of Legally Blonde is coming to MTV. According to Variety, the current Elle Woods, Laura Bell Bundy, has extended her contract through the spring.

The show is currently casting show contestants in Los Angeles and New York City. The stage version of the MGM comedy opened in April of last year and has made more than thirty million dollars to date.

MTV will broadcast the show in its entirety starting October 13th.

Legally Blonde was released July 13th, 2001 and stars Reese Witherspoon, Luke Wilson, Selma Blair, Matthew Davis, Victor Garber, Jennifer Coolidge, Holland Taylor, Ali Larter. The film is directed by Robert Luketic.
