According to The Hollywood Reporter, MTV made the horror telefilm My Super Psycho Sweet 16.

On this show, a teenager that has it all finds her birthday party in trouble when a serial killer shows up. It seems that "the title and concept plays off the network's reality hit My Super Sweet 16."

"Horror is a genre that's really popular in our audience, so this is a great opportunity to play in that space," offered Chris Linn, MTV senior vice president of production.

MTV will release an uncut, download-to-own version in addition to the edited telecast.
