MTV Ready for Skins

MTV gets Skins

After acquiring rights to the British series Skins last August, MTV is moving forward with the project and has ordered 10 episodes.

According to Variety, Skins premiered in January 2007 and centered on a raunchy group a U.K. teens.

Similar to the original series, Skins will feature a mostly unknown cast. There's been no official start day of production, but the series is set to take place in Baltimore.
