No Mr. T cameo in the new A-Team movie
The actor stated that his decision had nothing to do with money as he had already made his mind up to not appear in the film before money was discussed. The actor said, "It just wouldn't be right" for him to be in it. He felt that if his B.A. isn't the main guy, then what's the point of doing it? He went on to say that since they would market the film with him being in it, he didn't want his friends and family to think he would have some big role when he wouldn't. He finished by saying that he had nothing against the cast or even the fact that they're doing a remake but that a cameo is just something he wasn't interested in doing.
It's been previously reported that series stars Dwight Schulz, who is best known to fans as Capt. "Howling Mad" Murdock, and Dirk Benedict who originated the role of Templeton "Faceman" Peck, will have cameo roles in the new film directed by Joe Carnahan. The 20th Century Fox film stars Liam Neeson as Hannibal, Bradley Cooper as Faceman, Quinton Jackson as B.A., Sharlto Copley as Murdock, along with Jessica Biel and Patrick Wilson and is scheduled for release on June 11th.
The A-Team was released June 11th, 2010 and stars Liam Neeson, Bradley Cooper, Jessica Biel, Quinton Jackson, Sharlto Copley, Patrick Wilson, Gerald McRaney, Henry Czerny. The film is directed by Joe Carnahan.

Err
cameos from childhood heroes are always appreciated, but whatever.

The Narrator: The Better Man
I like the cast but the director (Smoking Aces) is not right for this type of movie. And Jackson needs to go. But still looking forward to it.

This is a disappointment for sure, but, it's his decision to make...and it sounds like he has alot of integrity for turning this role down, guided by his intuition and not avarice. He's not even badmouthing the remake, which most would think would be his schtick. Still looking forward to seeing this A-Team remake that has such a good cast with Liam Neeson, Copely (District9), Bradley Cooper (The Hangover), Jackson & Jessica Biel!

I thought they should have just kept him as B.A., he still looks the same.

it does suck for nostalgic reasons, but i think it was a good decision on his part. As much as i liked the cast from the original series, i dont think it is that necessary to do. my opinion that is all.
