Movie 43 Poster
Anthology and omnibus projects are becoming more and more popular these days, especially in the horror world with movies like V/H/S and the upcoming thriller The ABCs of Death. Movie 43 is taking the anthology genre to a whole new level, featuring one of the biggest ensemble casts ever assembled in for a comedy. The first poster has been unleashed today, featuring just a handful of cast members such as Hugh Jackman, Kate Winslet, Chloe Moretz, Emma Stone, Richard Gere, Halle Berry, and Johnny Knoxville. Check out this one-sheet for, "the most outrageous comedy ever made."

Movie 43 was released January 25th, 2013 and stars Dennis Quaid, Greg Kinnear, Common, Charlie Saxton, Will Sasso, Odessa Rae, Seth MacFarlane, Michael S. Meldman. The film is directed by Elizabeth Banks, Steven Brill, Steve Carr, Rusty Cundieff, James Duffy, Griffin Dunne, Peter Farrelly, Patrik Forsberg.

I don't know if I'd call it an ensemble film, it's more like several shorts rather than the whole cast together in one story.

Lol, @moviegeek. To be fair, those were about the only ensemble films I could think of that worked... and Lord of the Rings (but they were practically all talented B-listers).

@moviegeek oh I dont know, Serenity was pretty good. That is jus the first that comes to mind. But certainly movies like Valetine's Day etc are generally trash.
