I may be in the minority, but I dig this suit more than the previous ones. I never liked the raised silver web lines. Only thing is.. wouldnt this rubbery suit along with his running shoes make it hard for him to stick to walls? His previous spandex suit allowed little hooks to come through.

@messenger That could become a tired plot device quite quickly, so hopefully not to much eh?

I wonder how many times he will run out of webbing in the middle of a fight?

@cupid I was talking about Garfield and Stone. Haha! But they really made interesting choices for May and Ben too. I'm getting pretty jazzed for this movie.

@the-crow2k Pretty valid argument. I see that as hype more than anything but I see what you mean. To me I feel that Sony made all the right moves on this one.
Personally I feel a lot of people are approaching this similar to X Men: First Class, we were all hesitant with the rushed production, casting, continuity, etc.. but after the trailer we saw the majority's opinion sway and you know how that ended. I'm confident Spidey will deliver next summer

Leaving an impression is a progress that takes place before and after watching the film.
Sure, i can't based over a few shots, clips, notes, and producers who are trying to sell the product, but it does give me a sort of indication.
I saw Garfield in 'The Social Network', 'Boy A', 'Dr. Parnassus' and etc, i have no doubt about his skills as an actor, but i have doubts about this one, like many other fans who have no intention of disliking the film without even seeing it..but i just dont have the excitement that i had before the first one came, or the sequels.

@the-crow2k Don't movies usually leave impressions after its released? At the very least a trailer, but definitely not based on a couple random images. If you're looking for an impression check out Garfield in The Social Network if you haven't already

I just...can't relate to it.
It just doesn't seem to leave an impression of a better flick than the previous ones.
(You can say what you want on the 3rd, but before it came out you felt how big it was... So maybe this one will come small and will be better, but, so far i just can't feel it.)

TheMime
Interesting....... in the cartoon version, The Mime sees Spider Man using some kind of gadget to sling his webs but never understand why. Maybe this film finally answer.
