More 'Star Trek 2' Photos with Spock and Uhura Confronting Benedict Cumberbatch

The Space Barge is under attack from an unknown villain in these further fight shots from J.J. Abrams upcoming sci-fi adventure.
Yesterday, the first photos from J.J. Abrams' upcoming sequel Star Trek 2 appeared on-line, offering a look at Benedict Cumberbatch as the resident villain this time out as he was confronted by Spock (Zachary Quinto) and his on-again/off-again girlfriend Uhura (Zoe Saldana) on "The Space Barge" Set. Today, more photos have arrived from this scene, offering an extended look at this battle, which began on Friday with Benedict Cumberbatch's as yet unnamed villain getting the FSNP (Famous Spock Nerve Pinch), only to break free and render Spock unconscious. Uhura then came to Spock's defense. The below images show how Cumberbatch got the better of Zachary Quinto, and we also get to see more of Zoe Saldana in costume as well.

Though J.J. Abrams runs a pretty tight ship, and he is shooting on a locked down sound stage at Paramount Pictures, writer/producer Damon Lindelof has revealed that these photos were never intended to be shown in public, and that they were in fact leaked from the set. But he had a good sense of humor about it.

"The weird thing about that Trek photo is we weren't even shooting. (Quinto just really hates Cumberbatch. #IHateLeaks"

Star Trek Into Darkness was released May 17th, 2013 and stars Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana, Karl Urban, Simon Pegg, John Cho, Benedict Cumberbatch, Anton Yelchin. The film is directed by J.J. Abrams.
