The Kwisatz Haderach
I like gangster films, its the setting I probably enjoy the most. Im not a big fan of Miami Vice but collateral was cool. This should be good.

lol tensions are rising.. I enjoyed secret window, and although Miami Vice may have been Mann's worst in the last 10 years, it was definately not the worst movie in the past 10 years, oh and btw, everything is moving towards digital, its only a matter of time till everything will be shot digitally.
and what the hell is wrong with cops? that happens to be one of my favorite shows, every now and then I pretend I'm on the force and I break into my unsuspecting neighbors house and cuff him.. its surprising how much better you feel about things after a bust like that. I recommend you try it.

Look, no offense or anything but if you think those movies look cool then why dont you just stay home and watch COPS, they look exactly the same. And why do you think people like Spielberg, Jackson and both Ridley & Tony Scott have flat out refused to even try Digital, because they know its garbage film(tape)making.
Also I called Miami Vice a disasterpiece because it was by far Mann's worst movie in the last 10 years. Without question. But hey, if you like that then good for you man.

Please for the love of decent movie making, Michael Mann DONT shoot this movie digitally!!!
I dont know about the rest of you movieweb users (or if you guys can even notice the difference) but I f*cking hate movies that are shot digitally, they look like SH*T!!!
Go back and watch Michael Mann's most recent work Miami Vice or Collateral and take a glance at the actual look of the movies. They look awful. They look like they were shot with a really advanced home-video camera! CRAP CRAP CRAP!!!
A movie that takes place in the 30's needs to be shot on film. PERIOD. Lets hope Mann got the message after his disasterpiece Miami Vice.
