Steve Martin's sequel The Pink Panther 2 has racked up quite an impressive cast at this point. According to Variety, Andy Garcia, John Cleese, Alfred Molina and Aishwarya Rai have all agreed to appear in the comedy.

It was already announced that Jean Reno and Emily Mortimer would be reprising their roles from the original film. Details of the plot are currently being kept under wraps, but it is known that Harald Zwart will be directing this follow-up to the smash hit original.

Cleese will be playing Chief Inspector Dreyfus, while Garcia, Molina and Rai have all signed on to play detectives who help Clouseau to catch the thief that has been stealing artifacts from around the world.

The Pink Panther 2 will open nationwide on February 13th, 2009.
